Grasping the nettle – and not getting hurt

It’s been nearly two years since I last wrote anything on here. Since then I’ve given up on Twitter, put all my records and DJ gear in the loft, and ended up cancelling Tidal as I wasn’t using it enough to justify the cost. My Mixcloud page lies dormant and hasn’t had a new mix for many moons.

The last two years haven’t been all that pretty, but suffice it to say I’ve come out of it more or less unscathed, older and somewhat wiser. Certainly more cynical and a damned sight more sarcastic.

But if one thing can help dampen that cynicism it’s the opportunity to shape something big and make a difference. And just that opportunity came along in September this year when I started a new job at Supporting Education Group.
